Family beach trip

I just realized that it's been almost three weeks since my last post. I feel like life has been crazy lately to say the least! Between keeping up with a six month old and a 2 1/2 year old, trying to keep the house clean and get laundry done etc, and getting ready to move (more on that later!) I feel like I don't even get a chance to breath during the day! I know that one day I will look back on when our sweet boys were this age and miss it but my goodness they keep me on my feet right now!

Seeing how our life has been a little hectic, we decided to plan a little beach trip to Galveston. I'm not sure if we really believed this would relax us (given that we were traveling with two little ones in tow) but we knew that at least getting away would be nice! While it is definitely DIFFERENT traveling with two kids, we did the best we could to still have as much fun as possible. Aside from Connor not wanting refusing to sleep in his pack and play and crying screaming for much of the car ride home, it was still a fun and memorable trip!

Mason loved the beach and had absolutely no fear running straight into the waves as they knocked him down. Each time he would come up laughing and want to do it again. We also went horsebacking riding on the beach (Mason is convinced he is a cowboy so this was a huge treat for him), visited the Galveston Train Museum, did some shopping on the strand and ate tons of yummy food. Here are some pics from our trip!

I had visions of getting great pics of the boys together on the beach but Mason wouldn't stop playing long enough to sit down! This was the best we could get.
