2 months!

Connor you are two months old!

Connor's Playdate

Connor had a playdate this morning with his two little friends Keegan and Claire. The were all born with in a couple of months of each other and I can't wait to watch them grow up together! Here they are in their matching shirts. It's pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen! :-)

And just for laughs....while I was cleaning and getting ready for them to come over this morning, Mason had some pretty interesting ways of amusing himself. It's funny that since having two, I am a lot more lenient with what Mason does as long as he is entertained! So all in the span of 30 minutes Mason:

Jumped in Connor's exersaucer (this is a new favorite activity)

Proceeded to get stuck in the exersaucer

Took a wire wisk out of a kitchen drawer and used it as a golf club

Proceeded to put his cheese stick in the wisk and continue to use it as a golf club

Found my pool bag and took out all the sunscreen bottles to use as lotion

Attempted to share his sippy cup with Connor

And asked to go potty about three times just because he knows he gets one m&m just for trying.

Whew! I guess thats the joys of a little boy! Our lives are definitely so much busier now but I am loving it and trying to enjoy every minute because I know it will fly by!

7 weeks

7 weeks of

No Sleep

2 AM feedings

Spit up covered shirts

Many, many hours of nursing and pumping

and little to no "me" time

Are all COMPLETELY 100% worth it when I see this sweet smile!

Happy Birthday to my favorite TWO year old!

Dear Mason,

I can't believe you are TWO today! It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming you into the world. These past two years have flown by and so many times I wish I could just freeze time to stop you from getting any older! I love so much your sweetness and innocence and I don't want that to ever go away!

Sweet Mason you have been such a joy to your daddy and me. When we brought you home from the hospital we were so unsure of everything! We (okay mostly me) were worried about every little thing and whether or not we were doing it correctly. But you were such a good baby and made learning how to care for a newborn so easy. We had wondered how our lives would change with a baby and they did, but it didn't even matter because we loved you so much! We didn't feel like we were missing out on anything because we had YOU!

Watching you grow has been the most special experience. To see you start smiling then laughing then crawling and walking and now speaking to us in sentences has been amazing! You are the absolute sweetest, smartest, funniest and most loving little boy we could ever ask for. You melt my heart when you pick flowers for me, want to kiss my "boo boos", tell me you love me and give me more hugs than I can count.

In the last six weeks I have watched you go from being our one and only to a helpful and loving big brother. You have learned how to be gentle and kind to Connor and watching you with him is the best thing in the world. You absolutely adore him and I know he already loves you too! I can't wait to watch the two of you grow up together and hopefully be lifelong best friends.

Thank you my precious "little man" for filling our hearts with so much love and happiness. I hope you have the best birthday ever and I can't wait to celebrate many, many more with you!

Mason's 2nd birthday party!

On Saturday we had Mason's 2nd birthday party! It's hard to believe that in just three days my baby will be turning two...that's a whole other post though! Mason loves trains so what better theme than a Thomas the Train party! We lucked out on the weather considering that the very next day it was raining and 50 degrees! Here are some pictures of the day!
