Catch up post

It's sad that it's been nearly a month since my last post! We've been super busy enjoying fun fall activities and what little free time I have is spent working on editing photos I have taken of others and not my own kids! Sad I know! I'm going to try to blog more frequently though, even if they are short posts! Here's a little of what we have been up to! These pictures are a few weeks old, but I had to share. Mason and Connor are such little buddies lately and it just melts my heart. Mason is the protective big brother and Connor is just in awe of everything his "bubba" can do.

Speaking of Mason, I wanted to add some sweet things he has been doing lately! I felt like the first few months of him being three were ROUGH!! Back talking, arguing, tantrums, I could go on and on. But sometime in the last couple months almost all of that has stopped and he is now so easy, so pleasant and just such a sweet kid! I'm hoping that it stays that way for good now! Because I never want to forget these, here are some sweet things I hear frequently throughout the day:
"Mommy, you know who I love? YOU!!"
"Mommy you are my very best friend"
"Mommy you look so pretty and that shirt is pretty too!"
"Mommy I will pick you a flower because you are a princess and I will keep picking you flowers everyday because everyday you are a princess!"
And my favorite: "Mommy I am going to be good for all the days"

LOVE that boy!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina. We have gone here with friends every year for three years now and it has become a tradition in our little play group. I managed to get a cute shot of Mason and his best friend Carter then compared it to one their very first year there!

Last night we attempted some family photos! Another photographer and I had been messaging each other for a couple months about doing sessions for each other. We have the same camera so we took pics with each other's then edited our own photos! It worked out perfect! She is pregnant with her first so I definitely had the easier job: just two adults and a dog! She on the other hand had to deal with my screaming one year old and a three year old who was not wanting to smile and only wanting the "reward" candy in my bag. We did get a few good pics which is all I was expecting though!

Tomorrow is a Halloween costume parade at Mason's school so I will try and post some pictures of that! I can't wait!!
