Sweet boy, what a JOY you are to our family! I sometimes think back to before I was pregnant with you and think about how I thought I wanted a girl. I'm sooooo glad that God knew what he was doing and gave us you instead. I see now that you were the perfect piece to our family and just what we needed! Now I can't imagine my life without two little boys in it!
I think back to the day you were born and can remember it like yesterday. I spent 18 hours in labor with you and just couldn't wait to finally see you! I will never forget your full head of dark hair! You had the sweetest little cry that was more like a grunt. Even the nurses were commenting on how calm of a baby you were!
Before you were born, I worried that I wouldn't be able to love another child as much as my first. Those thoughts were immediately erased though as soon as they placed you in my arms! The sounds cliche, but my heart truly doubled in size when you came into my life!
It has been so much fun watching you grow, discover and learn this year. You are so different than your brother and it is so neat to have an entirely unique experience with you! You are calm, easygoing, cautious, cuddly and possibly one of the smiliest baby's I know!
You LOVE other babies and start laughing or cooing at them anytime you see one. I think you are going to be the more outgoing child in our family!
You are starting to explore on your own and get into things but you also still LOVE to be held. We decided that you were supposed to be born as a kangaroo since you want to be carried in your mommy's pouch all day!
Connor, I can't wait to see you continue to grow and become a little boy. Thank you for being my little sunshine and making my life brighter each day that you are in it! We love you so much and cannot wait to celebrate with you this weekend!!!
