On New Years Eve, we had a little family reunion with some of Jared's extended family. It was lots of fun seeing everyone! Here are Mason and Liev ready to party!
Connor was ready for 2012!
We were there a couple of hours past his normal bedtime but he was such a trooper. He fell asleep in someone's arms, then slept soundly in his carrier despite all the noise!
Mason got a shaving kit for Christmas and has loved playing "Daddy" in the tub!
Last week, Mason started preschool! He is only going one day a week for now but it is perfect for him and gives me some time to get stuff done and have alone time with Connor! When I dropped him off he walked right in and starting playing. He could of cared less that I was leaving! It was a little sad for me to see that he didn't need me there but I was so proud of him for being so brave! He had a great first day and came home telling me all about the letter J! Here he is before we left that morning!
Last weekend we took the boys to the Children's Museum! Mason had been once before about a year ago but could really enjoy all of the activities now that he is older.
He loved digging for dinosaur bones!

I love that we unknowingly took the exact same picture of the boys on their first day of school. At the front door, backpack on and lunch box in hand. Too funny! And I also love the last picture of Jared and Mason with the ferris wheel in the background! Very Dallas. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I know! It was actually seeing your picture that reminded me that I took one too and needed to post it! I so wanted to take a pic of him with his teacher but didn't want to be that crazy mom with the camera!
