15 Months!

I can't believe that my baby boy is 15 months old! It seems like he just turned one and now he is on his way to being a two year old! I am absolutely loving this age. He has so much personality and is just so sweet all of the time! Here is what Mason is up to at 15 months!!

- He loves to read books! We have a big tub of books in the living room and many times he will choose a book over other toys. He brings it to us then plops down in our lap to read it to him. It melts my heart every time.

- He is really trying to talk! About a month ago he all of sudden started trying to say a lot more and imitate our words! Now he seems to be learning a couple of new words a week. I'm not saying that anyone can understand them but me or Jared but he's definitely trying! Here are some of his new words:

dog (which applies to almost all animals right now)

ball (definitely his favorite thing and word)

no (unfortunately he picked this one up pretty fast!)

yeah (not sure where he learned yeah and not yes but we will take it)

shoe

tree

hot (he likes to touch everything outside now and announce that its hot!)

He still only has 8 teeth but has all 4 molars coming in. Hopefully we are almost past the painful part and they will be completely in soon!

He still loves to give kisses to Mommy, Daddy, animals (real and stuffed) and baby friends.

He LOVES the time each day when Jared gets home. As soon as he hears his car pull up he stops what he is doing and runs up to give him a huge hug.

He is quite the little climber. He climbs on anything he can including furniture, the ladder on the playset, the piano....he is definitely part monkey :-)

Outside is his favorite place to be and he would probably stay out all day if we let him. We are so looking forward to fall when we can outside whenever he wants!
