Soccer Game!

We were at the park a few days ago and Mason and a couple of his friends started a soccer game all on their own. This is this first time this has happened and just another reminder to me that he is growing up so fast!

Connor had fun too playing with all of his baby friends! It is so much fun that so many moms in our playgroup had their second babies around the same time!

We are loving this crazy warm weather in February! It's so great to be able to get the boys out and let them run around as much as possible! Today we headed to a park near our house to get some energy out!

11 Months!

Connor, you are 11 months old! Your birthday invitations are done, decorations are being made, and in one month we will be celebrating your FIRST birthday! Wow how time flies! We love you so so much and thank God every day for adding you to our family! Here is what you are up to this month!

You weigh around 19 pounds, wear 9 and 12 month clothes, a size 3 shoe and a size 3 diaper.

This month you started pulling up! Although you still aren't too sure about it you are getting better and better.

For the first time, I feel like you are enjoying yourself at playdates for Mason! You crawl around and explore and interact with other babies! It's so cute to see you start to socialize with others!

Speaking of other babies, you love to babble, touch, and play with any baby you come in contact with! I definitely think you are going to have an outgoing personality!

You are eating about 75% table food now! Some of your favorite things are chicken, sweet potatoes, blueberries, cheese and avocado! You are a great eater and less picky than your brother! Many nights at dinner you eat more than he does!

Speaking of Mason, he is probably your favorite person right now. You light up the minute he walks into the room! I truly hope that you two grow up being best friends!

It seems like lately everyone says how much you and Mason look alike. So I did a comparison of both of you at 11 months. I definitely see some similarities but still don't think you look that much alike!

Mason Sillies

Mason has been saying the funniest things lately. I wanted to write them down because I know I will forget them if I don't!

A couple of weeks ago I went running and had the boys with me in the jogging stroller. Mason asked why I was running and I told him so I could get skinny. A little while later when we were finished and coming up the driveway Mason goes "Why we stopping Mommy? Are you skinny now?"

One of his favorite books is a Elmo color book. The page about the color red goes "Roses are red and Elmo is too....." When I read that line Mason always gets so excited and says "Elmo is 2 just like me!"

Him and Connor seem to have a secret language lately. Mason always pretends he knows what Connor says when he is babbling. Lately when Connor starts talking Mason will say "NO TONNOR I'M THE BIG ONE!!!" Then come to me saying Connor is telling Mason he is bigger than him.

He is obsessed with pirates lately. One of his favorite things to do is stand on the arm of the couch with his pirate hat and homemade sword singing "Argh Argh Matey, Argh Argh Matey, A Pirates's life for me!" in his deep pirate voice.

This morning I was coloring a counting page with him. I started coloring a banana and he goes "Your banana is soooo beautiful Mommy!"

Any time he asks one of us to play with him he will say "Do you want to play _____ with me? That will be SO fun!"

Yesterday we were grocery shopping and had a cart where Mason and Connor were sitting next to each other. Connor starting playing with Mason's hair and Mason shouted for everyone to hear "NO Tonnor! You can't mess up my hair!"

Silly boy...he definitely keeps us entertained!

Poor Connor has been a little absent from my blog lately! I took some pics the other day of him playing and wanted to post a few. He LOVES this little talking and singing puppy that used to be Mason's. It's funny because I remember being so excited to buy it for Mason's first Christmas and then he never played with it at all! It is nice to see toys being recycled and actually used more the second time around!

An interview with Mason

I found this cute interview on Pinterest a while back and finally got Mason to cooperate and answer all of the questions. I would love to do this every six months or so to see how his answers change!

Birthday Pictures!

I took some 1st birthday pictures yesterday for our sweet friends the Hutchisons. They lived across the street from us at our first house and we have been friends ever since! Now, we both have two little ones and our baby boys are only 8 days apart! It was so much fun taking pics of little Keegan (and a few of big sis Ava too!) I love photography and I love that during my day of diaper changes, spit up, tantrums etc it is one thing that is actually for me! Here are a few my favorites!
